Place a Hold on A Popular Title

Place a HoldYou can Place a Hold for many titles, including bestsellers. If the book that you want is out on loan you can arrange that it be held for you when it is returned. You do this by using the Place Hold option in the Connetquot Library Catalog or by speaking with a librarian.

Suffolk Homework HelpStudents can get one-to-one tutoring in math, social studies, science, and English or submit papers for proofreading. Log in with your library card from 2-11 pm to chat live with a tutor or try the Skills Center at any time to get study guides for standardized tests and the GED, job search and resume tips, and citizenship help.

Make cabin fever a thing of the past by joining the adult winter reading club and exploring the great books at your library! Each book you read gives you an opportunity to win fun prizes from our weekly raffle drawings. Registration for all Connetquot Public Library cardholders age 18 and over begins Monday, January 25 at the adult reference desk. You will receive a gift (while supplies last), raffle tickets and a bibliography when you sign up. The four weekly drawings will be held on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. beginning February 5 through February 26. Please bring your library card when you register.
